Distracted Driving – Texting, Chatting, Eating — Takes a Deadly Toll

Federal, state and industry efforts to prevent and crack down on distracted driving by proposing and adopting bans on texting by drivers and banning hand held cell phone use behind the wheel have made a dent in the problem. Those measures can only go so far.
