Tractor-Trailer Hits Virginia (VA) State Trooper Conducting a Traffic Stop
The driver of the tractor-trailer has been charged under Virginia’s so-called “move over law,” which requires the driver of any car, truck, bus, motorcycle or other vehicle to both slow down and, when possible, change lanes when they see a police officer or public safety worker stopped or working on the shoulder of a road.
